It was August of 2017, almost 10 years since the release of Tom Cruise's Valkyrie, when Twitter proposed that the actor — for at least one brief moment — wore a fake butt.
The rumors finally made their way to Cruise himself who confirmed: The butt is real.
It started, like so many things do these days, with a tweet; an innocent viewer of Valkyrie catching The Butt and sharing it with the internet and wondering: Hey, is this thing real??
