Uber's new CEO is Dara Khosrowshahi of Expedia

Uber, the ride-hailing company of our future, has a new leader.

Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Expedia, will now be serving as Uber's CEO, after former CEO and co-founder Travis Kalanick was ousted in June following multiple controversies at the company including allegations of stolen proprietary technology

What that means for the Uber drivers and riders? Probably nothing in the short term. 

But for the internal operations, it means Uber, the ride-hailing app that thousands of people have used, is led by someone. Instead of being led by executives who had allegedly stolen medical records from a former rider, it will now be led by someone who will, hopefully, lead the company forward without such controversial entanglements.
