How 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' will come to virtual reality

The winners of Hollywood's growing move to virtual reality will be the hardware and software companies that strike deals with major studios, like Nokia, which just scored a huge deal for Star Wars VR content.

Announced on Monday, the multi-year deal pairs the studios behind Star Wars—Disney and Lucasfilm—with Nokia's new OZO VR camera.

"Utilizing the Nokia OZO to capture our behind-the-scenes material allows viewers to be transported to fantastical locations and virtually visit the incredible sets where their favorite Star Wars scenes were captured," said Lucasfilm's senior vice president of franchise creative and strategy, Brian Miller, in a statement.  Read more...
