Why we like it

This Dell Inspiron 15 features a 12th-generation Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and a 15.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It's a spec sheet we rarely see at this price point: Most cheap, entry-level PCs under $300 have dinky Intel Celeron N Series CPUs, 4GB of RAM, pokier eMMC flash storage, and 60Hz refresh rates. It's down to $279.99 on Dell's website (normally $329.99) during its Black Friday sale. While that's not a huge discount, it's a fantastic price for these specs.

Why we like it

The HP Victus is a solid budget gaming laptop with a 144Hz micro-edge display, a huge touchpad, and a backlit keyboard. The 512GB configuration with a new-ish AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor, 8GB of memory, and an older NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU is marked down to just $449.99 at Best Buy as part of its pre-Black Friday sale — an impressive 44% savings. It's the cheapest gaming laptop of Black Friday 2023 so far, and we wouldn't be shocked if it sold out soon (à la Walmart's $479 MSI model).

Why we like it

Often compared to the Lenovo Yoga 9i (one of our favorite 2-in-1 laptops), the 14-inch HP Spectre x360 is a premium convertible model with an ultra-thin design and expensive-looking metallic accents. It also comes with its own stylus (the $77 HP Rechargeable MPP2.0 Tilt Pen), which isn't something you see with a lot of name-brand hybrid laptops. The configuration with a 13th-gen Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM for multitasking, and 512GB of storage typically retails for $1,399.99, but you can order it via HP's website for just $899.99 (or 36% off). Its Black Friday sale hasn't even started yet!

Why we like it

A Mashable's Choice Award-winner, the 15-inch, M2-powered Apple MacBook Air upgrades the 13-inch version with a slightly larger (but just as pretty) Liquid Retina display and two extra speakers (six instead of four). Best of all, it still only weighs about three pounds. Best Buy has it on sale for $1,049 (separately from its Black Friday offers) and takes an extra $50 off if you're a paid member of its My Best Buy program, which brings it down to a record-low price.
