"So you're a god, living in a rest stop bathroom, in a stall that's gloryhole adjacent?"
That line, uttered by Ryan Kwanten in the trailer for Rebekah McKendry's Glorious, pretty much says everything you need to know about Shudder's new horror/thriller, which looks both very gory and very ridiculous.
The story follows Wes (Kwanten), a heartbroken man who finds himself being addressed by an unseen God (J.K. Simmons) – and subsequently tasked with saving the world – after he pulls into a random rest stop.
It's either going to be brilliant or terrible.
Glorious is available to stream on Shudder from Aug. 18.
