Nikon Instruments Inc. has just announced the winners of its annual Nikon Small World in Motion Photomicrography Competition.
A video of a polyp emerging from a reef-building staghorn coral captured by biologist Dr. Philippe Laissue won the first place. Our favorite was Thomas Drolsum’s video of iron filings in a magnetic field which received an honorable mention from the judges. Read more...
