
Text messages briefly took center stage during the first part of Donald Trump's impeachment hearings, and with them have come one of the worst parts of texting: those three little dots that signify "someone is typing."
On Wednesday, the first two witnesses in the official impeachment probe — American diplomats Bill Taylor and George Kent — testified in public hearings on Capitol Hill.
As the two men began answering questions from the Democrats, several text messages between Taylor, U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, and Kurt Volker, former U.S. Ambassador to NATO, were referenced.
