The Turkish president apparently threw Trump's ridiculous letter in the trash

Welcome to the second day of the terrifying Trump letter saga.

For those who have been shielding their eyes from the news, on Wednesday the public learned that Trump sent a deeply concerning letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to address the dangerous situation in Syria.

In the letter, Trump used a slew of unhinged and un-presidential language, threatening to destroy Turkey's economy if Erdogan didn't act in a "humane way." The letter was so ridiculous that Turkish presidential sources told BBC that Erdogan threw it in the trash.

EXCLUSIVE: I have obtained a copy of ⁦@realDonaldTrump⁩’s letter to #Erdogan. ⁦@POTUS⁩ warns him to not “be a tough guy! Don’t be a fool!” Says he could destroy Turkey’s economy if #Syria is not resolved in a humane way. Details tonight at 8pm #TrishRegan #FoxBusiness pic.twitter.com/9BoSGlbRyt
