
This may seem like a clip from some kind of coming-of-age movie, but it appears to be real life.
On Sunday, Zach Pierce shared the above Nest security cam footage on YouTube and Reddit. The video shows a panicked kid running into his driveway, jumping into a handy garbage bin, and closing the lid. 30 seconds later, a police officer — who is clearly looking for him — stalks by.
According to Pierce's comments on Reddit, the kid stayed in the bin — which reportedly "smells of cat piss and baby poop" — for a solid 30 minutes. The end of the video shows him climbing back out again, acting casual at first, and then sprinting off down the road. Read more...
