There's nothing in the NHL rulebook that says a dog can't play hockey.
That's just the sort of bravery that minor hockey league team the Atlanta Gladiators showed on Tuesday night, when they held their first wiener dog race.
It's exactly what it sounds like. In between periods, they lined up a bunch of Dachshunds on a blue line and off they go, slipping their little legs on the hopefully-zambonied ice.
