Some people are just content to live. But some won't others until they can wear a giant fried food costume at a football game.
Every year on Jan. 1 Outback Steakhouse sponsors the Outback Bowl, a big college football game that also features a bizarre fried mascot: a Bloomin' Onion, just like the one you can find on the steakhouse's menu.
Ryan Nanni, a contributor for SB Nation, announced at the beginning of this year that he was on a quest to don the fried onion costume for the big game. To underline this, his Twitter bio reads, “My only professional goal for 2017: to serve as the Blooming Onion at the next Outback Bowl.” Read more...
