Twitter is adding a new feature to help users figure out what's "happening now."
The company introduced a new feature today that will highlight sports games, breaking news, and other topics at the top of its users' timelines.
The feature, which is now rolling out now to Twitter's apps, puts a carousel of events at the top of your feed. Twitter says the "happening now" events will be personalized to each user based on their interests and what types of accounts they follow.
The company says for now the plan is to focus on sports, with football, baseball, soccer, hockey, and basketball updates, but other topics will be added in the future. Read more...
