Tom Hanks became a Halloween legend last year with the introduction of David S. Pumpkins.
Mr. Pumpkins first appeared on Saturday Night Live in the now-classic "Haunted Elevator" sketch. He danced alongside a pair of skeletons and right into our Halloween-loving hearts.
In a recent interview with Vulture, the writers behind the sketch, Booby Moynihan, Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell, revealed the inspiration behind Hanks' character.
They were initially influenced by a video called "Little Superstar," which features a small boy dancing in sync to some infectious music. Read more...
