Colin Kaepernick signs $1 million book deal

NFL teams might not be jumping at the opportunity to sign Colin Kaepernick, but the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has some deals of his own in the works.

The 29-year-old athlete who started a massive cultural movement after refusing to stand during the national anthem in protest of police brutality in America and unjust treatment of the black community reportedly signed a book deal with Random House, according to NBC Sports.
