After receiving considerable backlash, Cam Newton has said he's sorry for the sexist comment he made to a female reporter.
On Wednesday, he responded to a question from reporter Jourdan Rodrigue by saying, "It's funny to hear a female talk about routes like — it's funny." Then on Thursday night, he tweeted out a video apologizing for his "extremely degrading and disrespectful" word choice toward women.
