As of today, the iPhone X is finally here. Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller unveiled it at a special press event in the brand new Steve Jobs Theater at the company's headquarters in California.

It appears that the iPhone X will live up to most of the hype, sporting an OLED display that, as promised, covers its entire front side. It also has a vertically oriented dual-camera system on the back. In addition, the iPhone X offers advanced facial recognition instead of Touch ID, meaning you can look at your phone to unlock it.

It also (gasp!) lacks a "Home" button, and is awakened by gestures instead. Perhaps its most impressive feature is the all new Animoji, which allow you to control an emoji of your choice with your face using the phone's infrared camera. Read more...
