October means marathoning scary movies — or pretending to and then secretly bingeing a lot of Chef's Table in the wee hours of the morning. It's okay — you do you! Netflix is here for all your October bingeing needs, and while it's losing some heavy hitters (*weeps for FNL and 30 Rock*) it's bringing in new original movies and series to fill at least part of the void.
Top Pick: Stranger Things 2
There's a lot riding on Season 2 of Stranger Things, but we're cautiously optimistic. The Duffer brothers aren't greedy about future seasons. They churned this one out in a year and gave us a few choice kernels along the way, as well as vintage posters and at least one promised Ghostbusters reference.
