Rest at ease, Game of Thrones fans, as the season's greatest mystery is solved — though it may, in fact, be reopened. HBO director Matt Shakman told Mashable in the middle of the season that Ed Sheeran's character probably wasn't at the Loot Train Attack™, and therefore was probably still around singing somewhere, but Sheeran thinks his character met his end anyway.
"We were all quite young, those soldiers," Sheeran told MTV. "I doubt I'm going to survive for that long, to be honest, when there are dragons in the world."
