Android developer trolls Apple by copying the iPhone X's most noticeable feature

It turns out you don't need to spend $999 to get the iPhone X's most noticeable features.

No, not the talking Animoji or slightly creepy face scanning, but the notch. A clever developer has created an Android app that brings the iPhone X's distinctive camera cutout to Android handsets.

Called "XOutof10," the app doesn't actually do anything, other than create a black space around the top of the screen to mimic Apple's sensor-packed notch.

"You, the average Android user, probably had a laugh on Apple users about the new camera bump that covers the screen's content," the developer writes on GitHub. "Well, you won't pay 999$ just to test it. And now, you don't need to!" Read more...
