A high-speed Formula 1 crash from the driver's point of view is truly terrifying

A crash during an ultra high-speed race like the Formula 1 can be extremely dramatic and dangerous, with sparks flying and smoke covering the drivers. 

On Sunday's night race on the streets of rain-soaked Singapore, three drivers crashed out in large part due to the slick conditions.

The crash took out the first two drivers on the grid — Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who swung into the second driver, and Red Bull's Max Verstappen. Vettel also hit teammate Kimi Raikkonen, in the three-car collision.

The crash ultimately resulted in a surprise win for Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, who started in fifth position. Read more...
