During Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, Jared Leto paid tribute to Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Sound Garden's Chris Cornell, who both died by suicide earlier this year.
Taking the stage to introduce footage of Linkin Park's 2010 VMAs performance, Leto reflected on his friendship with the artists and encouraged those who may feel like "there is no hope" to "reach out, share your thoughts, do not give up."
