If there is one thing everyone knows about Monday's solar eclipse, it is that staring at the eclipse without proper eyewear can cause permanent eye damage. Per Benjamin Landy at Vanity Fair, White House advisors Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner even pushed the president to take caution while viewing the eclipse.
