You can take a guided tour down the depths of Australia's Great Barrier Reef in a live broadcast on Twitter's Periscope on Thursday, 12:30 p.m. local time, where people can ask questions to travel personality Mitch Oates.
Oates has a "specialist scuba mask" fitted, which allows him to answer in real-time. It's an interesting initiative, given recent talk around the reef's health amid the constant threat of climate change.
There's also a second broadcast at 2 p.m. local time, which features the founder of Earth Hour, Andy Ridley, and his new conservation project called Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef on how people can protect the natural site. Read more...
