The last big dark market left online may already be compromised

The Silk Road, Silk Road 2.0, AlphaBay, and Hansa: These are the dark-web marketplaces shuttered by law enforcement, leaving online buyers and sellers of drugs, weapons, and who knows what else scrambling to find the next online bazaar for their illicit wares. 

They found it in Dream Market, but as the last big dark market standing picks up steam, users are flocking to Reddit to warn that it too is already compromised. 

Dream Market, like the Silk Road before it, puts together buyers and sellers and takes a cut of the transactions. People looking to buy, say, 28 grams of cocaine (currently selling for .735 Bitcoin) can access the site via TOR and find a vendor offering that very thing. Vendors receive reviews, like on Amazon, and that system of checks keeps the site mostly running smoothly.  Read more...
