O.J. Simpson is about to be a free man (again).
The former star football player became infamous while on trial for the 1995 murder of his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and a waiter named Ron Goldman. Though he was acquitted in that trial — which generated a media frenzy and an enormous public reaction — Simpson was later convicted of armed robbery and assault after leading a group in a robbery of a Las Vegas casino in 2007. (He claims he was only trying to get back memorabilia that had been taken from him.)
