Many media outlets, including ours sadly, misread Lorde when she spoke Friday about her relationship with Taylor Swift.
In response to reports claiming she wasn't actually a part of Swift's squad after comments she made during a Sunrise interview, Lorde released a statement on Twitter later in the day, clarifying her answers and setting the record straight about her and Taylor's friendship.

In the statement, she says she loves her "dear friend" Taylor very much, and that the "squad" everyone refers to is not a "secret cult," but a "wide circle of people." Read more...
