For some reason BBC dignifies whiney 'Doctor Who' casting complaints with a response

Hell hath no fury like an internet man-baby scorned. After BBC's brilliant decision to cast Broadchurch's Jodie Whittaker as the thirteenth doctor on Doctor Who, fans are upset that the time-traveling regenerative alien could possibly take the form of a human woman.

So many have had the audacity to complain, in fact, that BBC issued a statement Wednesday in response to the absurdity.
