Sir Patrick Stewart has played many roles: Macbeth. Professor X in X-Men. Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Real-life British knight. Man who sips champagne from a boot.

Stewart performed the latter on Sunday at the Canadian Grand Prix, an annual auto race in Montreal that's part of the Formula One World Championship.

The British actor drank boot-bubbly alongside Daniel Ricciardo, an Australian driver who first introduced the quirky celebration to Formula One. The "shoey" is apparently the brainchild of some beer-loving Aussie outdoorsmen.  Read more...
