Nespresso is making a move to celebrate early innovators in this new filmmaking space. Nespresso Talents 2017 is not only a celebration of aspirational filmmaking, but a competition that empowers vertical filmmakers to tell their stories in creative ways.
This year, Nespresso Talents posed a challenge to filmmakers around the world to create a short vertical film exploring the theme of “You have the power to…” This theme of empowerment aligns so cohesively with what video making actually is — it’s the ability to showcase your own feelings of empowerment, it’s the opportunity to lay your passions bare for the world to see, it’s the power to create change in the world.
