Those long-delayed Avatar sequels have just taken a big step forward.
Fear the Walking Dead star Cliff Curtis has been cast as a new lead for Avatars 2 through 5. He joins Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, who are set to reprise their roles from the first Avatar.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Curtis will play "Tonowari, leader of the Metkayina reef people clan."
The Avatar sequels have been in development basically since the original Avatar opened in 2009. The original plan was to release two sequels in 2014 and 2015. Then it was going to be three sequels in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Read more...
