Prepare to see more sponsored videos barging into your Pinterest feed.
The scrapbook-like social network is expanding its fledgling autoplay video ads into more parts of its app as of Wednesday, including search results and the home feed. The ads were previously confined to the platform's "explore section."
The company is also opening up the autoplay ads to new brands through its ads manager buying platform.
While still officially in a testing phase, the move could mark an important step forward for Pinterest's video advertising business, which is still in relative infancy. Read more...
