Why Michael Jordan didn't attend North Carolina's national championship win

North Carolina legend Michael Jordan was savaged with crying Jordan memes after the Tar Heels lost the 2016 national title game on a heart-breaking buzzer-beater with him in the stands. 

On Monday night, North Carolina got sweet redemption by winning the 2017 national title over Gonzaga. This time around, Jordan was not in attendance — but it's not because he was scared of getting another meme treatment.
