Uber is (finally) making it easier to see your rider rating

While it's always been simple for Uber riders to quickly evaluate potential drivers, it's long been a chore for riders to figure out what drivers think of them.

Now, that information will be readily available — Uber is finally making it easier to see your rider rating.

Uber's latest update — announced Wednesday via blog post — makes a rider's rating pop up right under their name in the app. 

In other words, now you can't hide from your Uber ratings.

Then new ratings display is part of Uber's ongoing effort to become more driver-friendly. The idea is to make riders more cognizant of how they behave while in the back seat. If a rider sees he's got a 2.8 out of five stars, then maybe he'll think about not using his hands as blunt drum sticks whenever he gets inside an Uber, or do any other thing that may be troublesome for Uber drivers.  Read more...
