On the same weekend as the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, Samantha Bee and her team from Full Frontal on TBS will host a red carpet event followed by a special taping of the show.
Proceeds from Not the White House Correspondents Dinner will go to the Committee to Protect Journalists, and the entire event will be broadcast uncensored on Twitter.
"The teens who run our social media accounts said we should do this, and honestly, I was about three margaritas in at the time, so I guess it’s happening," Bee said in a press release.
