You may have been enjoying watching Star Wars movies during the holiday season, but that's about to come to an end.
Disney and Lucasfilm announced the release date of the still-untitled Star Wars Episode IX on Tuesday, and it's May 24, 2019.
That's almost exactly a year after the release of the Han Solo standalone movie, also currently untitled.
Episode VIII, aka The Last Jedi, is coming out this December — as did Rogue One and The Force Awakens.
But May is more traditional when it comes to Star Wars; the original movie arrived on May 25, 1977, and all subsequent Star Wars films followed suit with early summer releases. Read more...
