Facebook wants to help you get out of your media bubble.
The social network is testing a feature that will provide users with additional context when they see major stories in their News Feeds. This is yet another example of Facebook trying to figure out how to provide extra context and information to its users as it looks to curb the rise of fake news and misinformation.
"Today, we’re beginning to test Related Articles that might appear before you read an article shared in News Feed," wrote Sara Su, News Feed product manager at Facebook, in a blog post. Read more...
