An ownership group in San Diego that's trying to make their city the next home of Major League Soccer put potential team names online for a fan vote. 

Classic mistake! 

You can never trust those jokers on the internet. 

Remember "Boaty McBoatface"? That's the $243.3 million polar research vessel that the internet overwhelmingly voted to give a ridiculous name. (It didn't quite stick, alas, but kind of lives on.)

Now we have "Footy McFooty Face."
