It's not every day you can say you've trounced a record set by the legendary Aretha Franklin, but yesterday, Nicki Minaj was able to do just that.
The New York rapper, whose debut album was released in 2010, now officially holds the title of the most Hot 100 hits by a female artist.

Minaj's three new songs, two of which feature Drake and Lil Wayne, have all made there way on the Hot 100 chart–bumping up her total appearances there from 73 to 76.
Hot 100 entries include guest appearances on songs, and Minaj's first appearance on the chart came seven years ago with a verse on Lil Wayne's "Knockout," according to Billboard. Read more...
